Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood has vowed to go back to basics in a bid to kick-start his side's dismal start to the season after Tuesday's Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat by Peterborough.
Forest were beaten 3-2 by League Two Posh at the City Ground to extend their winless runs to six games in all competitions this season.
"I'm really disappointed. It's not so much anger because we're got to be constructive about what we do from here but it's another knock and we cannot get away from that," Calderwood told the club's official website.
"We should have a chance of beating Peterborough at home and we got ourselves into a winning position twice.
"It seems hard to win any game of football at the moment - we've been thwarted in many ways.
"It's a case of going back to your basics and if you think your basics and principles are alright, you'll be okay."
