Blackstock strikes but Antigua miss out on shock

Antigua & Barbuda were beaten 2-1 by the USA in their World Cup qualifier on Friday

Nottingham Forest striker Dexter Blackstock stoked hopes of a shock result at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium when he equalised Eddie Johnson's opener for the visitors.

Johnson however netted a late winner to keep the USA, coached by Jurgen Klinsmann, firmly on course for a place in the final round of qualifying.
