Manager Colin Calderwood has been sacked by Nottingham Forest in the wake of the Boxing Day defeat against Doncaster Rovers.
Forest have also parted company with coach David Kerslake after losing 4-2 to a Rovers team who had only scored 11 goals in their previous 24 Championship matches.
Forest have won just four times this term since winning promotion from League One via the play-offs earlier this year.
"We're grateful to Colin for his efforts over the last two-and-a-half years but we're in a results business," said chief executive Mark Arthur.
"It's imperative that the club stays in the Championship. We need to give ourselves every opportunity to do that."
Calderwood had been in charge at the City Ground since May 2006 and had previously been the manager of Northampton Town.
