A Third Of The Way Through For The Reds

The Championship season continues apace with Nottingham Forest in 11th place following their 2-2 draw at Leicester.

Manager Sean O'Driscoll conceded that his side were fortunate to leave the King Power Stadium with a point, agreeing with counterpart Nigel Pearson about the penalty that the Reds were awarded which levelled the scores.

"I can see why the referee gave it, but in my view it was not a penalty," was the verdict of the visiting boss while O'Driscoll was also less than impressed with his own side's display.

"We got lucky and I hope it is another 20 games before we play like that again. We have played a lot better than that and come off losing matches."

The Championship season is now a third of the way through and opinion seems to be divided as to whether the Reds' top-half position is a false one or the foundation of a play-off push.

Only three defeats in sixteen games bears no comparison to last season's struggles while the Reds are also unbeaten in their five meetings with the division's top six.

But, with half of their games ending as draws, are O'Driscoll's squad hanging on to the leaders by their fingertips or finding their feet while coping with some very tough tests?
