Kelly learned the importance of experience the hard way when he was playing for this weekend's opponents Newcastle, where he is still a folk hero.[LNB]He netted the vital goal that prevented their relegation to the third tier in 1991 before leading them to the top flight the following season.[LNB]"Experience is vital," he told the Evening Post.
