Wilson suffers fresh injury blow
The 23-year-old has yet to feature in this campaign after sustaining the injury in a pre-season game against city rivals - and his former club - Notts County.
Wilson resumed light training this week and it was hoped he might be able to return before the end of the month.
However, he suffered a setback in training on Wednesday and looks set for a prolonged spell on the sidelines.
"Unfortunately Kelvin went over on his ankle again and could be back to six weeks out," boss Billy Davies told the club's official website.
