A collision with QPR defender Kaspars Gorkss left the striker with a gash above his right eye during Saturday's 2-2 draw.[LNB]Tyson was forced off after just 15 minutes with blood pouring from the wound and was then taken to hospital for stitches, but the striker remains positive about his progress.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "The stitches are due to come out on Thursday and I don't see why I shouldn't be able to play at Birmingham.[LNB]"It apparently only takes five days for a cut to heal and as long as I don't get an infection or anything like that I'll be fine.[LNB]"It was just a case of two silly idiots going for the same ball - there wasn't anything malicious in the challenge.
