Tykes first then a big home week for Forest

The Reds travel to Barnsley this Saturday

The Oakwell trip precedes two crucially important home games as relegation rivals Doncaster Rovers (Tuesday 6th) and Millwall (Saturday 10th) come to the City Ground.

Forest's hard-won confidence boost from the wins against Coventry City and Birmingham City will be tested to the full against a Barnsley side who still need a handful of points to ensure their own safety but who have performed well at home this season.

Manager Steve Cotterill will be keeping his fingers crossed that Lee Camp, Chris Gunter and Adlene Guedioura escape injury on international duty and may be none too pleased that Dexter Blackstock's grandparent connection qualifies him for Antigua & Barbuda and a long trip for this week's friendly with Trinidad & Tobago.

The Antigua side is coached by a former Chesterfield player, Tom Curtis, whose footballing claim to fame was scoring the winning penalty against the Reds in the Spireites' famous FA Cup run of 1996/97.
