Two sides in need of a lift at the Keepmoat

Doncaster Rovers and Nottingham Forest meet in the Championship on Tuesday night While Steve McClaren saw his side turn in a toothless attacking display at Millwall on Saturday to leave them without a goal from their two league fixtures to date, Rovers boss Sean O'Driscoll was left 'gobsmacked' by his team's game at home to West Ham. "Too many people who think they can play in this division didn't do the basics well," he blasted after Kevin Nolan's goal settled the game in favour of the visitors. "I'm not disappointed in playing poorly - I can handle that. I am disappointed in not doing things they need to do." O'Driscoll also has a lengthy injury list to contend with which includes strikers Billy Sharp and James Hayter. The South Yorkshire club are looking for a loan signing to fill the gap but with money tight at the Keepmoat Stadium may not be able to bring in the man they want. To that end the Doncaster boss may not have too much sympathy with opposite number McClaren's weekend criticism of Forest's transfer policy having seen the Reds splash out £1.2m for a new forward on Monday in the shape of Ishmael Miller. "Ishmael is still a young player but has loads of experience and a lot to prove," said the Forest boss. "He wants to play, which is why he is coming to Forest. "He's the type of player we want at the club. He's young and ambitious and fits the criteria perfectly."
