The charismatic and unique Brian Clough, built a winning team that was disciplined and driven to succeed.

Having shocked people by winning the league in 1978, Forest would then go on to claim back-to-back European Cups in 1979 and 1980 as well as two league cup wins in 78 and 79.

Their success did however take its toll on the team who finished fifth in the league the following season and began a downward spiral for both the club and manager.
