Tait looks set to turn his loan spell at Tamworth into a permanent deal after verbally agreeing terms with the non-league outfit. And he told the Tamworth Herald: "I was absolutely gutted to be released by Forest. It was hard to take at first but you have to bounce back from setbacks. "I'll be out to prove a point to them now and hopefully one day I will go back to haunt them. I'm hoping to sign for Tamworth next week and I believe that Gary Mills, as a former full-back himself, can help me develop as a player." Meanwhile, the Championship club have announced a pre-season friendly against Sporting Lisbon. Davies' men will face the Portuguese Giants at the Estadio Municipal on July 11 before spending the next five days at a training camp.
