Star striker missing for City
Nicky Maynard is out of Monday's clash with Nottingham Forest The 24-year-old's season only started in February after a long injury lay-off and he showed what Bristol City had been missing with 6 goals in 13 appearances. A first career sending-off against Sheffield United at the weekend however means that Maynard will not play again in the current campaign. "I feel disappointed in myself and upset for the fans. Hopefully the team can push on from Monday against Forest," he said. "It didn't dawn on me until I was in the dressing room that my season was over. I kept thinking we had four games left and I'd be back for the last game but then I realised."
