Payday loan companies who sponsor football club's shirts are in the news

Bolton Wanderers have opted against using Quick Quid as their shirt sponsor after a backlash from fans while Newcastle United striker Papiss Cisse has stated his opposition to a deal with Wonga as it compromises his religious beliefs.The excellent website Historical Kits has images of Forest kits through the ages. 1980 onwards the Reds' shirts have been adorned by a number of different companies with Beer (Skol, Shipstones, Home Ales, Labatt's), Credit Cards (Capital One) and Gambling (Victor Chandler) all featuring.Are they any worse than a payday loan company?
