Royals appointment for Forest
In a daunting opening to the Championship campaign, the Reds then face home games against West Brom (August 15) and Watford (August 18) and another difficult away trip to QPR.
August concludes with the visit of East Midlands rivals Derby to the City Ground, with the return fixture at Pride Park on January 30.
The festive period brings home games against Preston (December 19) and Coventry (December 28). In between is a trip to Vicarage Road to face Watford on Boxing Day.
Davies' side will visit Scunthorpe for their final game of the season on May 2.
