Reading stretch advantage over the Reds

Nottingham Forest are now three points off the play-off places Reading made full use of their game in hand by beating Preston North End at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday night to move onto 63 points with 7 games left to play. The first of those is a huge clash at the City Ground on Saturday when the Reds host the Royals in a game that Billy Davies knows his side dare not lose if they are to make the end of season shootout. Chris Cohen will not be available for that game however after losing his appeal against the red card he received in Saturday’s televised defeat at Leeds United.
