Premier League or CCC: Boyd wants permanent Forest move

George Boyd hopes to stay at the City Ground next season regardless of whether the Reds' go up or not "Even if Forest are still in the Championship next season, it would not make a difference, I would still like to come," said the 'attack-minded' winger after making an emergency loan switch on Tuesday, swapping what seemed like certain relegation at London Road for a promotion fight on the banks of the Trent. 24-year-old Boyd joined Peterborough from Stevenage in 2007 and played a key role in their rise up the leagues under Darren Ferguson. Even in what has been a difficult season for Posh he has adapted well to life in the Championship, netting 12 times for the league's bottom club. Middlesbrough had been strongly linked with the player but he arrived in Nottingham to pep up Billy Davies' squad after some disappointing away results which have hampered hopes of a top two finish.
