PP: Redmond regaining confidence

The 20-year-old joined Albion on a six-month loan from Nottingham Forest in the summer and endured a nightmare on his debut in the Brewers' 3-1 defeat at Shrewsbury on the opening day of the season. After being responsible for two goals at the Prostar Stadium he was subsequently dropped and has made just one more appearance - in a 5-1 Johnstone's Paint Trophy defeat to Chesterfield at the start of this month. Redmond kept a clean sheet as Burton beat local rivals Derby in a reserve-team match on Wednesday and Peschisolido told the club's official website: "I am delighted for Shane because he did suffer a loss of confidence at the start of the season. "But he has worked extremely hard and Kevin Poole has worked hard with him and he was great (against Derby). "He is a young lad and sometimes it can go the other way but he has shown good character and shown more of what we saw in early pre-season."
