Poyet shrugs off Forest romp

Brighton manager Gus Poyet thinks the 7-3 win at Leeds will have little bearing on Saturday's game

Poyet brings his Brighton & Hove Albion side to the City Ground looking to continue their push for a play-off place and, while he admits the Elland Road success will have given the Reds a boost, will not be looking too closely at his opponents midweek triumph.

"I'm not going to look at the game because it's not normal," he said.

"It was a very good result but I'm not going to get anything from it because they were playing away, so it's not the way they play normally at home.

"We know their strengths and they might be more confident because of the game on Tuesday night, but we need to go and play our own game."
