Supporters are unhappy Forest failed to bolster their squad during the January transfer window in preparation for an automatic promotion challenge.[LNB]Boss Billy Davies has himself questioned the wisdom behind the decision that has coincided with a miserable run of six straight away defeats which has seen the Reds lose considerable ground on leaders Newcastle and second-placed West Brom.[LNB]But Pleat told BBC East Midlands Today: "Every player that has been suggested by the manager has been enquired about and some just aren't available.[LNB]"Every club has an acquisitions panel, it is just a name. There is a anti-feeling towards it in the media because they think it is interference - but it is not. It may be that players who have been recommended haven't been wanted by the manager and he has the final say.[LNB]"The supporters must keep faith. The club is in a far better position than it was, it is progressing steadily and it has got good people guiding it."[LNB][LNB]
