Perch set for return?
Nottingham Forest are hopeful James Perch could return from injury for the showdown with Championship leaders Newcastle.
The versatile 24-year-old, who was a target for the Magpies during the January transfer window, missed the 2-0 win over Crystal Palace on Tuesday night with an ankle injury he sustained against Peterborough at the weekend.
Perch has resumed training and could come back into the reckoning for the televised clash at St James` Park on Monday night.
"We will have to see how Perchy is over the next few days," Reds boss Billy Davies told the club`s official website.
"The good thing is that we didn`t pick up any major injuries in the Palace game and we can now focus out efforts on the next match."
