Perch back in business for Forest

The 24-year-old has been out since suffering a stress fracture to a shin in April but played 55 minutes as a strong reserve team, which also included Luke Chambers, Robert Earnshaw, Joel Lynch, Garath McCleary, Lewis McGugan and Paul Smith, defeated Barnsley 2-1 at the City Ground.[LNB]Forest had hoped to give Perch a similar run-out for the second string a fortnight ago but he was ruled out after sustaining a knock in training.[LNB]Nialle Rodney opened the scoring for the Reds before Perch conceded a penalty in the second half after fouling Onome Sodje, who regained his feet to level from the spot. However, Rodney struck again to hand Forest the win.[LNB]Perch was substituted in the 55th minute while Earnshaw, who will now join up with the Wales squad for their friendly against Scotland at the weekend, played an hour as he continued to regain match fitness following almost a month out with a calf injury.[LNB][LNB]
