Only Derby left who can ruin Forest's record

22 December 2010 22:10
Can the Reds make it through 2010 unbeaten at home in the league? Only their great rivals Derby County stand between Nottingham Forest and an entire calendar year of avoiding defeat at the City Ground in the Championship with the final home league game of the season set to take place in front of a sell-out crowd on 28 December. The Reds first home league game of 2010 saw them defeat Reading 2-1 before an emphatic 5-0 success against Queens Park Rangers. A further eight wins and one draw were racked up before the end of the 2009/10 campaign. This season started more slowly but still solidly with three consecutive 1-1 draws before a win against Swansea City while Saturday's comfortable triumph against Crystal Palace was the Reds 29th consecutive home league game without defeat.
