Ollie: Seasiders win was criminal

Holloway, who saw his side claim a narrow victory thanks to a Charlie Adam goal, even apologised to his opposite number Billy Davies for grabbing all three points at the City Ground.[LNB]The former QPR and Leicester manager Holloway said: "I felt as though we've nicked something, put it in the bag and got out of here with a win.[LNB]"In some ways, it was 'after the Lord Mayor's show' for us after beating Newcastle on Wednesday because we looked very tired. But at the end of the game we've come away with three points - fantastic![LNB]"Forest were what our reports said about them - great going forward. But we managed to get a goal and then exploited them at the back.[LNB]"The goal that Charlie Adam scored was superb and it would have graced any level of football.[LNB]"But our strength today was at the back. I could not fault my lads for effort and we sustained our defensive line and made it very difficult for Forest to break through."[LNB]Adam followed up his man-of-the-match performance in the Newcastle victory by clinching the vital goal in the 19th minute.[LNB]He picked up possession inside the Forest half but dummied his way past two challenges before leaving goalkeeper Lee Camp rooted with a shot into the bottom corner of the net.[LNB]Forest's best chance of an equaliser came in a frantic incident seven minutes before the break after Wes Morgan had landed a ball in the Blackpool box. Robert Earnshaw saw his shot saved by Paul Rachubka, who beat away Guy Moussi's follow-up and then Earnshaw had a second effort blocked on the line.[LNB]Forest boss Davies said: "It was just one of those days when things didn't work out for us and it sums it up when their manager apologised to me at the end of the game.[LNB]"It was very honest of him and I've got great respect for that but it was very frustrating for us.[LNB]"We had 19 opportunities to score and battered them but unfortunately for us we didn't get the three points.[LNB]"We know we have to take our chances. It's all about being more clinical but we will dust ourselves down and get ready to go again on Tuesday against Blackburn in the Carling Cup."[LNB][LNB]
