Brazil expected to chop and change

Caretaker manager Gary Brazil is expected to make changes to the Nottingham Forest team when Sheffield Wednesday visit the City Ground.

After an improved performance to earn a 1-1 draw at Ipswich, Brazil kept faith with the same players against Millwall, making only one enforced change with Danny Fox unavailable for family reasons, but saw them produce a miserable first-half display and ultimately slump to a 2-1 home defeat.

Henri Lansbury and Kelvin Wilson both returned from injury as substitutes on Saturday and Brazil may see his options swelled further ahead of Tuesday night with midfielders David Vaughan (knee) and Andy Reid (hamstring) both close to comebacks.

Jamall Lascelles is likely to go straight back in at centre-half on his return from suspension, replacing Greg Halford whose injury allowed for Wilson's introduction at the weekend.

Sheffield Wednesday central defenders Glenn Loovens and Oguchi Onyewu have both been ruled out.

Loovens (hamstring) and Onyewu (back) began Friday night's defeat at Leicester at the heart of defence but were both forced out through injury, leaving boss Stuart Gray short of cover.

Miguel Llera is expected to start, with Lewis Buxton switching from full-back to the centre of defence alongside him, Liam Palmer moving to right-back and Joe Mattock at left-back.

Midfielder Sam Hutchinson is expected to miss out through illness, but winger Michail Antonio came through unscathed after his return to first-team action at Leicester following ankle ligament damage.
