Halford misses Lions encounter

Nottingham Forest will be without Greg Halford for Millwall's visit to the City Ground.

Halford must serve a one-match suspension against the Lions after receiving his fifth yellow card of the season during the 4-1 victory over Barnsley.

His absence means on-loan Norwich defender Elliott Ward is expected to make his full debut at centre-half.

Midfielder Adlene Guedioura comes back into the reckoning after serving his two-match ban.

Jermaine Jenas' one-month loan spell came to an end last weekend at Oakwell, where he scored Forest's final goal. However, Reds boss Sean O'Driscoll has extended the 29-year-old's stay from Tottenham until the new year and he remains available.

On-loan Chelsea defender Sam Hutchinson remains sidelined with a knee injury.

Millwall could hand a debut to new loan signing Adam Smith.

The right-back arrived from Tottenham on Thursday on a three-month deal and could replace Alan Dunne in the starting XI.

Dunne picked up his fifth yellow card of the season during the Lions' 4-0 win over Huddersfield and sits out a one-match ban.

Fellow defenders Karleigh Osborne, Jack Smith and Paul Robinson are hampered with injuries.

Osborne is struggling with a calf complaint and is unlikely to play a part, while Smith and Robinson are definitely out. Smith has a groin problem and Robinson is a long-term absentee with a pelvis injury.

Millwall are looking to extend their unbeaten run to seven matches, but they are without a win on their travels since August.
