Options at Davies' disposal

Nottingham Forest manager Billy Davies should again have a fully-fit squad to choose from for the visit of Middlesbrough.

Striker Simon Cox suffered no ill effects after he played 77 minutes of the 3-2 home victory over Barnsley on Saturday as he started his first league match since the opening-day win over Huddersfield following his recovery from an ankle injury.

Davies, who will be back in the dugout after serving his one-match touchline ban, must decide whether to name an unchanged side or make one or two alterations.

Striker Darius Henderson will be hoping his late goal from the bench, which proved to be the winner against the Tykes, will earn him a recall to the starting line-up while Greg Halford, Gonzalo Jara, Simon Gillett, Jamie Paterson, Matt Derbyshire and Djamel Abdoun are further options.

Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray could hand a first start to Kei Kamara at the City Ground.

The 29-year-old striker had to settle for a place on the bench in the 3-1 defeat to Ipswich following his late return from international duty, but he could make his full debut for Boro on Tuesday.

Mowbray will check on Jozsef Varga, who missed Saturday's match with a hip injury he sustained playing for Hungary.

Seb Hines is making good progress in his recovery from summer surgery on a knee injury but he is unlikely to be ready in time to be included.
