Cohen in race against clock

Nottingham Forest will check on Chris Cohen ahead of what could be a dramatic final game of the season against East Midlands rivals Leicester at the City Ground.

Cohen missed the 1-0 win at Millwall last weekend with a thigh strain and the versatile 26-year-old faces a race against time to be fit for Saturday lunchtime.

Full-backs Gonzalo Jara Reyes (knee) and Sam Hutchinson will definitely miss out through injury but striker Darius Henderson comes back into the reckoning after serving a three-match suspension.

Former Forest captain Wes Morgan will make his first return to the City Ground since leaving to join Leicester in January 2012.

The Reds must better Bolton's result against Blackpool to win a play-off place. Victory for Billy Davies' side combined with Crystal Palace losing to Peterborough would also seal a top-six spot irrespective of what Bolton do.

Meanwhile, Leicester must win a league game at the City Ground for the first time since 1972 and hope the Trotters do not win if they are to sneak into the play-offs.

Leicester will be at full strength for their must-win final game.

Last weekend's home defeat to Watford has left the Foxes' play-off hopes hanging by a thread.

Manager Nigel Pearson named an unchanged side for the third straight game against the Hornets but he is expected to freshen up his starting XI for Saturday's lunchtime kick-off.

Leading scorer David Nugent is a strong contender to return to the team while fellow striker Harry Kane, winger Ben Marshall, midfielder Danny Drinkwater and defenders Zak Whitbread and Liam Moore are also options for Pearson.
