Henri Lansbury suspended for Forest against Ipswich

Henri Lansbury has added to Nottingham Forest's problems ahead of the home game against Ipswich.

Lansbury was sent off against Burnley in midweek and must serve a ban, leaving Reds boss Dougie Freedman unable to call on six central midfielders through injury and suspension.

With the loan move for Bolton's Liam Trotter collapsing because of Financial Fair Play-related complications, it means David Vaughan and youngster Jorge Grant are the only available players in that position.

Defender Matt Mills completes a three-match ban while Michael Mancienne (hamstring), Kyle Ebecilio (hamstring), Andy Reid (groin), Chris Cohen (knee), Ben Osborn (groin), Robert Tesche (foot), Matty Fryatt (pelvis) and Britt Assombalonga (knee) remain out injured.

David McGoldrick and Cole Skuse are Ipswich's latest injury concerns.

Striker McGoldrick missed the 3-0 midweek defeat at Hull with an groin problem and midfielder Skuse was absent with an ankle knock, and boss Mick McCarthy will monitor their fitness ahead of the trip.

Jay Tabb and Teddy Bishop (both hamstring) are still struggling while Ryan Fraser, Luke Hyam (both knee) and Tommy Oar (concussion) are set to miss out again.

Town have won just once in their last eight Championship matches to slip to 11th in the table.
