Peltier poised for Forest bow

Lee Peltier is expected to be added to the Nottingham Forest squad for the visit of Charlton as they begin life after Billy Davies.

Peltier, largely a right-back but comfortable playing anywhere along the back line, has moved to the City Ground on loan from Leeds on a deal until the end of the season.

Forest are not thought to have any new injury problems following the 5-0 defeat at Derby on Saturday which spelt the end of Davies' tenure as manager.

Defenders Eric Lichaj (hernia), Kelvin Wilson (back) and Jack Hobbs (ankle) and midfielders Henri Lansbury (back), David Vaughan (knee) and Andy Reid (hernia) remain unavailable, although Lansbury is back in training and nearing a return.

Charlton will check on Callum Harriott ahead of the trip.

The winger missed Saturday's 3-0 home defeat by Burnley after suffering an ankle knock against Bournemouth in midweek.

Boss Jose Riga plans to rotate his squad and could include Joe Pigott after recalling the young striker from a loan spell at Gillingham.

Midfielder Astrit Ajdarevic and forward Reza Ghoochannejhad may return to the starting line-up but defenders Chris Solly and Leon Cort remain on the sidelines with knee injuries.
