Full-strength Forest for Davies' return

Billy Davies has a full squad to choose from for his first game back as Nottingham Forest manager against Bolton at the City Ground.

Davies will be in charge of the Reds for the first time since losing 3-1 at Swansea in the second leg of the npower Championship play-off semi-final on May 16, 2011.

The Scot, sacked a month after that defeat in south Wales, became the Al-Hasawi family's third managerial appointment since their takeover of the club in the summer when he signed a three-and-a-half-year deal last week.

Rob Kelly oversaw the 2-0 defeat at Bristol City last Saturday, which saw Algerian midfielder Adlene Guedioura go straight back into the starting line-up following his return from the African Nations Cup in South Africa.

Kuwaiti goalkeeper Khaled Al-Rashidi, defender Elliott Ward, midfielders Simon Gillett, Henri Lansbury and Lewis McGugan and strikers Darius Henderson and Simon Cox were on the bench at Ashton Gate and are options for Davies should he want to make changes.

A trio of players are set to strengthen Dougie Freedman's options ahead of Bolton's trip.

Midfielders Stuart Holden and Medo Kamara and defender David Wheater all came through a development squad game on Monday evening and are set to be in contention.

Matt Mills also played in that match as he battles back from a knee injury, although the contest at the City Ground may come too soon for the former Leicester defender.

Mark Davies could return to the squad following a shoulder problem, but Republic of Ireland international Keith Andrews continues to be sidelined by Achilles and thigh injuries.

Winger Chris Eagles has suffered a lack of form over recent weeks and may be dropped, while strikers Craig Davies and David Ngog pressed their claims for starting roles after coming off the bench to score in the win over local rivals Burnley.
