Nottingham Forest pursued four possible targets on deadline day but will stick with what they've got for now

Chairman Fawaz Al Hasawi issued a statement after the closure of the transfer window to explain the day's events while reiterating that the club were more than happy with their transfer business earlier in the summer when nine new faces were added to the squad.

Most pleasingly for fans it seems that Adlene Guedioura is staying at the City Ground after a move to Crystal Palace did not go through.

With the madness over and Premier League teams now sorting out their 25-man squads for the season, Forest have the opportunity of adding to their ranks when the loan window opens.
