McKenna happy with Forest defence
Billy Davies' men have leaked nine goals in six league fixtures and have not kept a clean sheet since the opening day of the campaign.
McKenna, a £750,000 summer recruit from Preston, believes the team's performances have merited more rub of the green.
He told the Nottingham Evening Post: "We have had three or four own
goals this season which, although not ideal, does show that the lads have been in the right places to make blocks and get in the way - they just have not had that bit of luck you also need.
"Teams are not carving us open, with the exception of Watford. Other than that we have not had too many defensive issues. We look very solid."
