Injuries piling up for Davies

Nottingham Forest`s squad has a threadbare feel to it ahead of the trip to Barnsley. Boss Billy Davies, already likely to be without captain Paul McKenna for the remainder of the season due to knee ligament damage, has revealed defender James Perch and forward Garath McCleary are fighting injuries that could also end their campaigns. Perch and McCleary missed the defeat at Preston on Saturday with ankle and knee problems respectively. Joel Lynch is set for another spell on the sidelines after the full-back suffered a recurrence of a thigh injury. Davies has several other unnamed players also nursing bumps and bruises following the Preston defeat. After losing at Deepdale, Leicester, Doncaster, Coventry and Derby, Forest will be looking to halt a five-game losing run on their travels.
