Promoter Eddie Hearn has been talking up a possible City Ground bout and Froch said: "I definitely want to fight back in England, back at home, that's for sure."
Chris Gunter meanwhile is confident that the Reds' luck will turn in front of goal after a run of scoreless games for Steve Cotterill's men.
He told BBC Radio Nottingham: "We believe that if we carry on playing as we are, we certainly won't carry on not scoring goals.
"We have looked more solid in the last few weeks and have not looked like conceding goals, so if we start nicking one or two, we will be much better for it."
