As Steve McClaren 'considers his position' at the City Ground what do Forest Mad readers think of the lack of deadline signings? The former England boss is thought to be mulling over his future this weekend, using the international break to decide whether the Nottingham Forest job was not as advertised in the brochure. We asked for your thoughts, a selection of which are printed below: Jonathan Bailie: 'Another window shuts, another season passes and we still don't have a balanced squad. This isn't difficult to see...Again we've snapped up a few good players, but in positions (where) we were already decent...Nothing however takes the biscuit quite like the lack of a left back, a catastrophic mistake.' Stuart Mcrae said simply: 'David Pleat time's up at City Ground. Mid-table best we can hope for.' Richard Tugwell: 'My message is back the manager you have appointed and let him get on with the job in hand, like a certain Sir Brian did.'
