Forest star in confident mood
Manager Billy Davies has been without Joel Lynch, Kelvin Wilson, James Perch and Julian Bennett for the start of the campaign and didn't bring in any cover during the transfer window.
Forest have picked up just five points from their opening five matches but recorded their first win over local rivals Derby prior to the international break.
But midfielder Cohen - who has played out of position at left-back - believes the current squad is good enough to climb the table.
He told the Nottingham Evening Post: "We don't know what is going to happen with players coming in but we have enough good defenders to push on, it is just unfortunate four out of six are injured.
"We are all confident that whatever team the manager puts out can beat anyone in this division, as we proved against Derby."
