Adlene Guedioura and George Elokobi are being lined up for permanent moves to the City Ground once the club's takeover is completed with a premium on bringing midfielder Guedioura back to the club following his successful spell last season.
Both players are currently under contract with Wolves but are thought to be available for the right price and would begin the process of rebalancing a squad that Cotterill has made clear is not up to Championship strength at present.
