Forest plumb new depths in cup shocker

The Reds were swept aside by local rivals Leicester City on Tuesday night

A live televised audience saw for themselves that Steve Cotterill has a massive task on his hands just to keep Forest in the Championship this season.

Despite a Robbie Findley howler in front of goal, Leicester barely had to get out of second gear to progress to an FA Cup 4th Round meeting with Swindon Town.

Jermaine Beckford did the damage with a hat-trick as the Reds were left chasing shadows for much of a chastening evening at the King Power Stadium.

And it doesn't get any easier for Cotterill and his wounded side, with seven goals conceded in their last two games, as a trip to West Ham United in the league follows this weekend.

Reaction to come on Forest Mad.
