Nottingham Forest will attend a hearing on Friday to champion Robbie Findley`s work permit application.

The USA striker has agreed to join the Reds, subject to receiving the necessary clearance. Boss Billy Davies and chief executive Mark Arthur will lead the Forest delegation in front of a panel made up of former players and managers, as well as representatives from the Football Association, Football League and PFA.

Findley played in three of America`s four World Cup matches in the summer, including the draw against England. The 25-year-old began his career in the MLS with LA Galaxy before moving to Real Salt Lake.
