Forest have a TV date with safety

Nottingham Forest can take a huge step towards securing their Championship status on Easter Saturday

The Reds take on Bristol City in a live televised fixture at the City Ground knowing that a win will take them nine points clear of their opponents, who currently occupy the final relegation place, with only five games left to play.

And Steve Cotterill's side should go into the game with huge confidence gained from their recent form, typified by the 3-0 away victory against Crystal Palace at a ground where most Championship sides have struggled this season.

"We came here looking to pick up something from a tough away game but to go and score three goals, keep a clean sheet and come away with all three points means we are well worth our fish and chips on the way home," was the manager's verdict after the trip to South London.
