Forest enthused ahead of league leaders' visit

The Reds face Southampton in the Championship this weekend.

The leaders come to the City Ground looking to avoid a third straight league defeat and will face a Nottingham Forest side making plenty of positive noises following their win at Ipswich and FA Cup stalemate against Leicester City.

Jonathan Greening talked of having 'turned the corner' while boss Steve Cotterill felt the Leicester game, in which the visitors came back strongly in the second-half, was one Forest would have lost just a few weeks ago.

A replay awaits with the Foxes but the Southampton game is a much bigger one for Cotterill and his men if they are to keep spirits high amongst players and fans.
