Forest end awaydays with Hull defeat

21 April 2012 06:13
The Reds were beaten 2-1 by the Tigers on Saturday afternoon

The game at the KC Stadium was rendered meaningless with Forest securing their Championship status in midweek and Hull's play-off hopes ended by Cardiff's lunchtime draw with Leeds.

Both sides conjured up an entertaining contest however which was decided for the hosts by a Gunter own goal and a Fryatt penalty.

Radoslaw Majewski's late consolation wasn't enough for the Reds who remain on 47 points ahead of the season finale against Portsmouth next week.
