Forest chief wants calm heads
The Reds go into the tie having failed to beat Derby for six years.
But Davies does not want his side to approach the game any differently to any other Championship match.
"I'll prepare normally, I've told the players to prepare normally and I've also told them to continue playing the way they have been playing," he told Forest's official website.
"Because if they do, they'll be a thorn in many teams side."
