The 22-year-old still has two years to run on his existing deal, but Davies is eager to tie one of his prized assets to a longer stay. The former West Ham and Yeovil man was named Forest's player of the year this season, and Davies is keen to fend off any clubs that may be interested in him. "I have spoken to every player at the club about who is staying, who is going and about their contribution," he told the Nottingham Evening Post. "We have spoken about what the future holds. There are one or two people we need to look at and Chris Cohen is one of those. "We have started that process. Now we need to talk to the board."
