Fergie in the frame for Forest job

Darren Ferguson has today emerged as a potential candidate for the vacant managers job at Nottingham Forest. Steve McClaren left his job as Forest boss following their 3-1 home defeat to Birmingham on Sunday.

According to SkySports Ferguson is now in the frame to replace McClaren. MK Dons boss Karl Robinson and former Forest player Martin O'Neill are also in the running to become the new manager at the City Ground.

Darren Ferguson currently in charge of fellow championship side Peterborough has guided his newly promoted side to 13th place in the league so far this season.
