Derby versus Forest clash is called off

Sunday's East Midlands derby hasfallen foul of the bad weather affecting the UK

Heavy overnight snow has caused problems surrounding Pride Park meaning that the fixture will be played at a later date.

Although the postponement has been made on safety grounds it is perhaps a blessing in disguise for a Nottingham Forest side affected by the shock announcement on Saturday of the death of Nigel Doughty, the club's owner and former chairman.
