Defender injury woe for Forest
Wilson has not played since sustaining the problem in the friendly at city rivals Notts County at the end of June.
It is another setback for boss Billy Davies who is already resigned to being without long-term injury victims James Perch and Julian Bennett for at least three more months.
With Luke Chambers facing a three-match suspension following his red card in the opening-day draw at Reading on Saturday and Chris Gunter away on international duty with Wales, Davies' resources are stretched to the limit ahead of Wednesday's Carling Cup first-round tie against Bradford at the City Ground.
