From Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony fuming over a non-deal to sign George Boyd, over alleged problems with an eye tes,t to stories that Alex McLeish has decided to walk out on the club it is extremely hard for anyone to know the true picture but what is clear is that turmoil has replaced stability at the City Ground.
More will emerge over the weekend, when there is also the little matter of a game against McLeish's former club Birmingham City, but for now speculation and rumour are filling the gap where concrete information should be.
