Davies "used to expectation levels"

Boss Billy Davies insists he is unfazed by the weight of expectation on Nottingham Forest next season. Davies transformed Forest from Championship relegation battlers to promotion contenders in his first full season in charge but the promotion dream ended on Tuesday night as they were beaten in the play-off semi-finals by Blackpool. Forest are likely to be installed as one of the promotion favourites for next season but Davies feels no pressure and is looking forward to the challenge. "It will be a difficult Championship season again. I don't think the three teams coming down will make much difference, the challenge will be the same," said Davies. "That is what happens when you have the track record I've got. That is why people employ me - because they want me to do a job. In five years, I have taken three clubs into the play-offs and I have helped another avoid relegation. "Forest wanted me to steer them clear of relegation, which I did. Then they wanted me to steer them as close to the play-offs as I could, which we obviously did. I am very proud of those achievements. I am used to expectation levels being there and it doesn't faze me that there will be expectation again next season."
