Davies thankful for Lady Luck

Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies felt his side were due some good fortune after halting a nine-game winless run with victory against Burnley. After Marvin Bartley had been dismissed in the 32nd minute for a rash challenge on Luke Chambers, substitute David McGoldrick struck a second-half brace as Forest moved to within a point of the play-off places. Burnley boss Eddie Howe described Bartely`s red card as "extremely harsh". Davies said: "Maybe it is the time for other teams to get the bad breaks, because we have had a few lately. "The late goal against Preston, out-playing Doncaster and not winning, out-playing Hull and losing 1-0, what happened at Leeds and the last-minute own goal against Reading - we've had our share."
